WHAT IS Northampton River Ministry?
We worship in a relaxed atmosphere while presenting practical Bible teaching in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. See our "History" page for more info.

ARE YOU A CULT?
No! We are Christian based, which means we believe Jesus Christ is Lord. We choose to follow His ways and His Word the Bible. We believe the Bible in its totality to be the inerrant and true, inspired Word of God. See our "What We Believe"  page for more on this.

WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE?
We have contemporary style worship.  We sing to God, not just about Him. You'll also hear a practical message in a relaxed atmosphere. Our messages are designed to relate Biblical truths that are relevant to everyday life and we pray for each other and the needs we see. Dress is casual or as you feel comfortable.

HOW DO I GET PLUGGED IN?
Be part of a Small Group.

WHAT IS SIN?
If we do anything that God considers to be wrong, it is a sin. It could be an act, or a word or just a thought. The Bible teaches that the sinful acts of a man are the symptoms of a sinful nature that is present in man [Galatians.5:v17,v19]. So our underlying problem is that we have a tendency to sin. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God [Romans 3:v23].

WHAT IS DISCIPLESHIP?
Discipleship is simply when Christians taking an interest in the life of a younger Christian and share with them, guide them, and help them mature along their Christian journey. [2 Timothy 2:v2]

WHAT IS REDEMPTION?
The word redemption means that something that has been lost is purchased back by the payment of a ransom. Mankind's relationship with God was lost in the book of Genesis, by the sin of Adam and Eve. But God made a way available for us to be restored to Him through the Lord Jesus Christ our redeemer. [Ephesians 1:v7]
